Futura+
Communicator uploads programming data and downloads
stored data from the mass memory of Futura+ and
DM series devices. These uploads and downloads
can be conducted either directly or over the phone.
Automated
Meter Reading
Futura+
Communicator can be programmed to connect to monitors
and download their readings at any interval. All
the data stored on every Futura+ can be periodically
downloaded to a central computer—entirely
automatic.
Charting
and Graphing
Futura+
Communicator displays and prints charts and graphs
of all system parameters. It even provides a unique
circular chart-recorder format that mimics traditional
analog chart recorders. For custom data trending,
the data can be imported into any standard graphing
software package.
Power
Quality and Fault Analysis
When
faults and voltage disturbances occur, Futura+
Communicator downloads and displays waveform information.
It can also display superimposed waveforms, the
peaks of a fault, the duration and magnitude of
voltage surges and sags, and harmonics on the line.
