Westbury,
New York - Electro Industries' high-end Nexus
1250 power monitor is now UL Listed. The Nexus
Monitor provides industry leading 0.04% revenue
class power readings for sub-metering and cost
allocation. The Nexus 1250 power monitor also provides
advanced power quality recording especially critical
at common couplings with a utility feed to a facility
and at critical power monitoring applications.
The Nexus 1250 utilizes a direct Ethernet TCP/IP
connection allowing meter readings and stored data
to be accessed directly through existing Ethernet
LANs.

Publicity
Release
Westbury,
New York - Electro Industries announces the
release of its Nexus 1250 hi-performance power
monitor. This monitor is the first unit to utilize
EIGs revolutionary, patent pending ACCU-Measure® metering
technology. EIG scientists have spent 3 years developing
this all-digital technique utilizing high-speed
DSP technology and precision references.
ACCU-Measure® Technology
Creates the Most Accurate Meter in the World -
Using ACCU-Measure® Technology, the Nexus
1250 monitor is capable of attaining accuracy
beyond 0.04% Watt-Hour. Voltage and Current
parameters are measured in parts per million.
Designed for utility deregulation, this accuracy
standard has never been available before. This
allows both consumers and energy providers
to monitor power usage more accurately. The
unit functions as a primary revenue meter as
well as sub-metering and cost allocation applications.
Hi-Performance
Power Quality Provides the Desired System Analysis -
In addition to metering functions, the unit
also offers advanced power quality monitoring.
The unit measures harmonic distortion to the
128th order. Sampling at 256 samples per cycle,
the unit records the voltage and current waveforms
on all power quality and fault events. The
meter records voltage surges and sags, transients,
fault event data and many other parameters.
The unit provides a graphical CBEMA analysis
of the damaging effects of the power quality
conditions.

Release
Westbury,
New York - Electro Industries announces
the release of Power Brick, our universal substation
grade power supply. This supply offers 125 Volts
AC/DC inputs and either 9, 12 or 24VDC output
at a 12VA rating continuous. The unit is MOV
protected, offers short circuit protection and
supplies very little ripple. Enclosed in a metal
housing, the unit rejects EMI and RFI interference.
Power
Brick was developed to provide power to substation
devices such a line switches, modems, transducers
or any other desired application. The units
superior input and output protection allow it to
perform under harsh substation conditions without
risk of failure.

Westbury,
New York - Electro Industries, the manufacturer
of highly advanced power monitoring equipment,
announces exciting new capabilities for its Futura+
Communicator 2.0 Power Monitoring and Analysis
Software application. This system now supports
simultaneous Watt/VAR Circular Chart graphs mimicking
traditional utility Watt/VAR chart recorders
precisely.
This
important enhancement solves the load management
dilemma faced by many Utility companies concerning
being able to provide useful load data without
retraining utility staff. This feature was implemented
for Central and Southwest Services and is now available
to all customers.
