Westbury, NY (Thursday, March 29, 2018) – Electro Industries/GaugeTech (EIG) announces the release of the Shark® 270 socket revenue meter with Level 2 DNP3 protocol for both serial and Ethernet. The meter can be independently mapped to provide a host of readings, including voltage, current, watts, VARs and all energy values. Using Level 2 DNP3, the meter can be used for SCADA, as well as to collect energy for billing purposes. With these new features, in addition to billing, the meter is ideal for substation, power generation and any other application that requires SCADA measurements.
